Visit Sinohydro

Sinohydro made a significant donation to the Jonathan Foundation through the Jonathan Food Bank Quito project. We received support from the company to implement the necessary equipment to provide nutrition and food services.

This donation consisted of vertical and horizontal freezers, a stove, and an industrial-grade blender. This will allow the Foundation to store and prepare food safely, quickly, and with high quality, ensuring the preparation of the 400 daily food rations and kits, which are delivered to cover the basic nutritional needs of our users.

On December 30, 2024, the equipment delivery event was held at the Foundation's facilities. This activity was attended by 250 beneficiaries, employees, and senior company representatives. During the event, a tour of the Foundation's facilities was conducted, a mural was inaugurated, a symbolic plaque was unveiled, and singing, music, and dance activities were held to commemorate this special day. This event underscores the positive impact generated by partnerships between businesses and social organizations.

This event symbolizes the bonds of friendship and cooperation between China and Ecuador, demonstrating that together we can build a more inclusive and supportive world.

The Jonathan Foundation expresses its sincere gratitude to Sinohydro for sponsoring us. Their commitment and charitable contribution will strengthen the Foundation's work with children with disabilities and catastrophic illnesses, older adults, and people in vulnerable situations.

Each year, the Foundation holds several events to raise funds to ensure the continuity of its services and programs. During its 24 years of institutional existence, our efforts have focused on nutritional and medical services and the delivery of basic and specialized supplies to meet the needs of 7,000 extremely vulnerable families in the province of Pichincha and its surrounding areas. Therefore, the support of businesses, organizations, and volunteers is vitally important to ensure the continuity of these services.
