Colada Morada Vital: A Sip of Hope! The Jonathan Foundation launches solidarity campaign to raise $8,000 USD

The goal is to purchase wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, supplies for medical treatments, and essential breakfast and lunch preparations and food kits for children and seniors at the Foundation.

Quito, Ecuador – The Jonathan Foundation, an organization with 25 years of history, has ignited the spirit of solidarity in Quito with the launch of its "Vital Colada: A Sip of Hope" campaign. This noble initiative seeks to raise $8,000 USD, which will be used to purchase vital equipment: wheelchairs to improve mobility and independence, and oxygen tanks, crucial for those among its beneficiaries facing respiratory problems. It also includes basic and non-perishable food products such as rice, sugar, noodles, tuna, sardines, salt, etc., which are essential for preparing 400 meals each day.

The Colada Morada, the traditional Ecuadorian beverage that evokes unity and warmth, becomes the heart of this campaign. The Foundation invites the entire community to participate and turn this delicious tradition into a tangible act of love.

The funds raised will directly impact the quality of life of more than 9,000 children, seniors, mothers, and people with disabilities in vulnerable situations, giving them tools for greater autonomy and better health.
