Quito, October 14, 2024 – The Jonathan Foundation has launched its new charity campaign, “Let's Toast with Colada Morada – A Gesture of Love,” an initiative that seeks to unite the community around a worthy cause: to raise $6,000 to purchase wheelchairs and oxygen tanks, benefiting the children and seniors who are part of the foundation.

Colada morada, a traditional Ecuadorian beverage, becomes the symbol of this campaign, representing human warmth, solidarity, and love for those facing difficult situations. The Jonathan Foundation invites everyone to toast with this delicious beverage and, in doing so, contribute their part to improving the quality of life of those most in need.

“Our goal is to make a tangible difference in the lives of our beneficiaries by providing them with the support and resources they so desperately need. This campaign is a way to engage the community and remind us that every little helps,” said Catalina Avilés, director of the Jonathan Foundation.

The fundraising will go toward the purchase of wheelchairs to improve the mobility and independence of children and seniors, as well as oxygen tanks, which are crucial for those facing respiratory issues.
